Oral Proficiency Contest

Tusday, February 26, 2008 3:00 - 7:00 PM WHS upstairs cafeteria, Audion, various classrooms in L, K and B halls

Wissahickon High School is again proud be the host school for the James Doyle Oral Proficiency Contest sponsored by the Montgomery County Association of Teachers of Foreign Language. Last year, over 100 students representing 20 Montgomery County School Districts participated in the contest. It is indeed a 'showcase' event, and one which needs precise planning in order for everything to go off without any problems.

The World Language Honor Society plays a major role in the planing and successful implementation of the afternoon's activities.
At our December meeting, we will begin preparations for the event. Those of you who participated last year will be adding crucial information as to what worked well and what needs improvement. Please plan to attend the meeting and bring your ideas.
